The Gallery Hostel has everything that you would expect from a modern hostel. There is free Wi-Fi through-out the building. Luggage storage is available at reception. There is no smoking allowed anywhere in the building.

The Jan Palach Memorial is only 250 m from the building. Getting to the Gallery Hostel is straight forward. The hostel is only ten minutes walk from the main Prague railway train station. From here you can take an express train service to Dresden.

There are also numerous dining and eating options close by. A grocery store is within easy walking distance for people who prefer to prepare their own meals. Also within one hundred years is the Mexican steak house El Pueblo and the restaurant La Rotonde. If you are looking for a place to drink Rocky O’Reilly’s Irish Pub is right next door to the hostel.

Guests who have stayed at hostel say that the rooms and the bathrooms are clean. Of particular note are the beds which are said to be large and comfortable. The staff are said to be extremely helpful and friendly. The major disadvantage of the Hostel is that the bathrooms are all shared. Some guests have also noted that the walls of the rooms are relatively thin. This means that it might not be the best option for families or travellers who prefer privacy.
